The Falcon 50 is basically a Falcon 20 Series F fuselage, wing and horizontal tail (see 1974 edition) married to revised vertical tail surfaces fairing in to a dorsally-mounted engine and a revised and lengthened tail once. The wing is located farther aft in relation to the centre fuselage, an additional fuel tank is provided between the cabin and the rear baggage compartment, and the under-carriage, while similar to that of the Falcon 20, has been strengthened to cater for higher all-up weights. Prototype scheduled to fly during November 1975 with second in October 1976, and first production deliveries anticipated for mid-1977.
