First production Jaguar S for UK flown October 11. 1972. 8y the beginning of 1975. France had ordered 170 Jaguars and the UK had ordered 202. Both France and UK have a requirement for approximately 200 Jaguars, French versions being the single-seat A (Appui Tactque) and two-seat E (Ecole de Combat) and British versions being the single-seat S (G.R. Mk. 1) and the two-seat B (T Mk. 2). The G.R. Mk. I differs from the Jaguar A in having a nose-mounted laser rangefinder and tail-mounted avionics pack. The export Jaguar International with uprated Adour 804 engines has been ordered by Oman (12) and Ecuador (12).
